My Reflection of 2022

Hi Bloggers,

This Year has been a roller coaster with all the things happening like camp, netball, basketball, having to wear masks, not being able to do a school assembly and still more to come. this year I tried to get into as many zones as I can but most of them were canceled but I did do Basketball, Netball and Orienteering zones. this year I didn’t have much friends because most of them were year 6’s. In homework last week our class  had to write about the year like what was your favorite event so i’m going to answer some questions.

  1. What event do you remember the most? mine was camp and netball because of the memories that me and my friends shared.

  2. Why do you think your remember it clearly? Because of the huge water slide at camp and snorkeling. The water slide was my favorite activity because on how you go straight into the little pool and had to climb the wall to hop out.

  3. What new friendships have you made? I made friends with the netball team while playing, Creole and Azlan we were in a reading group.

  4. What subject have you enjoyed the most. why? I liked reading because in term 3 we learned about natural disasters and how we got to make a 3d model of the disaster. me and creole made a big volcano out of a Chinese hat and a cup.

  5. last question. What would you like to share about your 2022? I had a lot of fun this year like netball, camp, basketball, athletic zones and much more. I’m happy that I made some new friends this year because 1 of my friends moved school. I’ve had a really good year as a year 6 and I’m really proud of my self doing things that scared me but not any more.

Parihaka

Hi Bloggers,

On November 5th it is Parihaka Remembrance Day. In the 1870,s the British army came to New Zealand for more land and one of the places they went to was Parihaka. But the town of Parihaka wanted a peaceful war instead of a violent one so they protested and it didn’t work but that shows that some wars can be peaceful. The leaders Ti Whiti and Tohu kakahi got arrested. They used albatross feathers as a symbol of peace. In school we made headbands with white feathers for peace and to show respect to Parihaka.

Here is a photo:

Bye bloggers. happy Parihaka!!!

Astrotopia

In a galaxy far far away there was a planet called Astrotopia when you would go to this planet you would feel weightless and energy running through your veins. You could hear electric cars flying through the air and you could feel a weird vibration but hat is it from? (The underground electricity its is like a huge wire) When you would sniff the air you could smell a little bit of electricity but you could just smell normal air but it will take a while to get used to but after 2 month you will be fine. In the food it tasted disgusting but they only have alien go and booger burgers and tiny tiny rocks because they would always float in the air. Bye bloggers stay safe.
